This week held many surprises for Outpost as we were introduced to Molly and Carter, Titanic’s newest ambassadors. These pups were absolutely adorable, trained to behave in front of the camera and an absolute joy to watch. Outpost Worldwide went to Branson to shoot the dogs in their new home, the Titanic Museum. In the new spot, the dogs will be talking, so care was given to get the most appropriate shots of Molly and Carter for the SFX Department to work on.

The shoot went really well, as you can tell in the video. We had plenty of settings and props within the museum to choose from. We also had plenty of lights and crew to keep moving. From the lifeboats to the Promenade and Bridge, over to the First Class Cabin, we ended the shoot at the Grand Staircase, probably Titanic’s most recognizable feature. Very appropriate. And of course, the dogs needed a little nap while we were shooting!

Stay tuned for the spot to be finished. Molly and Carter will be talking in no time!

“We turned to Outpost Worldwide for HD TV commercials and sales videos because we wanted exceptional quality that illustrated the grand scale of the production,” said John Richardson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Dixie Stampede.

For Outpost Worldwide, Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede has grown into a national account over the last decade, coordinated through Wattner-Wilks Productions, including production for all three Dixie Stampede locations – Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, as well as Branson. Wattner-Wilks is a full service ad agency located in Springfield, Missouri, specializing in high-end entertainment clients.

According to Richardson, shooting at a Dixie Stampede Dinner Show is very challenging – low light levels, constant action and live animals in an arena dinner theatre setting … the show includes trick riding, a stampede of longhorn steer, racing ostriches and scores of other animals. Dixie Stampede — which began as a dream of renowned singer, writer and entertainer Dolly Parton – brings together stunning performers, amazing horsemanship, stunt riders, illusion and audience participation, all served with a fabulous four-course feast. And consistant with this high level of entertainment, Outpost Worldwide portrays all the thrills and amazement in high definition that compells audiences to choose Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede.
